About the CheckSpot bot

Requests from the user agent "CheckSpot" come from CheckSpot, an automated website security and compliance audit service. Each audit is initiated by a website owner who has confirmed they are authorized to have that site audited.

The bot is external, non-intrusive and passive: it reads only what a site already serves and public third-party sources, performs a single pass per target, and never runs exploits or brute-force. It identifies itself in the User-Agent header.
