Terms of Service
1. Service — CheckSpot provides an external, automated, non-intrusive website audit: security, compliance indicators (GDPR in EU mode, CCPA/FTC in US mode) and, optionally, technical SEO. The result is delivered as a PDF report. 2. Prices and payment — Prices are shown in euros (USD at parity). VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French Tax Code. One-off secure card payment via Stripe; no subscription. CheckSpot never processes or stores card data. 3. Delivery — The report is generated within minutes and made available via a secure link on the order status page, and by email when an address was provided. 4. Immediate performance and right of withdrawal — By placing an order, the customer expressly requests immediate performance and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code). No refund is due once the report has been delivered. 5. Automatic refund — If a scan cannot complete for a technical reason (site unreachable, scan error), the corresponding payment is refunded automatically. 6. Audit authorization — The customer certifies being authorized to have each submitted website audited. The audit is external, passive and non-intrusive: no exploitation attempt, no brute force. 7. Agency credits — Agency packs include 5 credits. One credit triggers a full scan covering both regions (EU + US), plus technical SEO for the coupled pack. Credits do not expire and are non-refundable once used. 8. Liability — Best-efforts obligation. CheckSpot is neither a certification nor legal advice, and guarantees neither completeness, nor regulatory compliance, nor any ranking. The publisher's liability is limited to the amount of the relevant order. 9. Governing law and disputes — French law. Privacy Policy
Data controller — Vincent Ferrier (WI CAPITAL), 9 Allée Dentelle, 97139 Les Abymes, Guadeloupe, France. Data collected — Audited website URL; delivery email address when provided; requester IP address and timestamp, kept as proof of the authorization attestation; public technical data of the audited site. Purposes and legal bases — Provision of the ordered service (performance of contract); proof of audit authorization and abuse prevention (legitimate interest). Retention — Reports and related data: 90 days. Unconverted free previews: 7 days. Automatic deletion afterwards. Recipients and processors — Hosting in the European Union; Stripe (payment); email provider. No data is ever sold. No advertising trackers. Audience measurement (Google Tag Manager) runs only after your explicit consent; refusal is the default state and sets no non-essential cookie. Your rights — Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Articles 15–22 GDPR). Exercise them at the contact address below. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
